What happened in Japan, on March 11th 2011, when the coast was hit by a tsunami that took the lives of over 1,000 people?
Let’s go back in time to Japan, when a huge tsunami, caused by an earthquake, travelled so far inland that it took the lives of over 1,000 people. Based on the personal accounts of the survivors of this enormous tidal wave, the program analyzes the behaviour and mechanics of the tsunami. By utilizing harrowing home-video footages, Hollywood-style CGI with the use of a supercomputer, attempts will be made to recreate the tsunami, thereby enabling viewers to experience firsthand what these people went through.
