Featuring one crime per episode we will get a grip with the psychological side of what it means to survive and explore the mindset of some of the most sadistic men in the world alongside these amazing women. What happens when two lives collide in a horrific situation? No recon. Just Denise exploring the ‘how’ and ‘why’. At the heart of the episode is the survivor’s story. Denise will draw out what was going through their minds at every stage of the crime, and unpack how they were able to escape. As the drama plays out, Denise will meet those who helped bring the perpetrator to justice, as well as trying to understand what was going through the attackers mind. Full of emotion and insight, this series will inform and shock the viewer. Denise is going to meet six inspiring women and explore how they became survivors rather than victims, as they endured some of the most horrific attacks even seen, but came out the other side to tell their story.
