Very shorty after the catastrophic explosion (twenty times bigger than Hiroshima) at Chernobyl in 1986 a young scientist Allen Dobrovolsky was sent into the site to access the effects of the fall out. Three decades on he is now a world leading contamination expert and is returning to discover some truly shocking ongoing issues caused from a botched clean up operation. He finds that the poisons from the fall out are seeping through the sub strata into the water course that supply’s 35 million people down stream. The incidence of cancers is amongst them increasing exponentially and there seems there is nothing can be done. Whilst Allen is deep in the Red Zone on the very 1st day of the Ukraine war, Russian tanks roll in capture the plant, march away 170 of the plants staff, who have never been seen or heard from since. The Russians then cut electricity supply’s and the damaged reactor starts spewing out even more radioactivity. The occupying troops dig World War style trenches in the most contaminated zone on earth fatally eradiating themselves, they then abandon the plant returning home to an early grave. Meanwhile President Putin is eying Chernobyl and other Nuclear power plants as potential doomsday weapons.
