On February 2, 2020, Max Calderan becomes a legend by crossing alone and in complete autonomy the 1100 km of the largest and most inhospitable sand desert in the world: the Rub'Al-Khali in Saudi Arabia, the last place ever explored on Earth. It is a desert made of dunes up to 300 meters high in continuous movement where not even camels have ever dared to enter and which flocks of birds avoid flying over. This extreme undertaking, which lasted 18 days, charted a new path, a new route that has been added to history books and maps: the Calderan Line. The Calderan Line, however, is not just a trail in the desert, but also a lifestyle in which science, health, nature, body and mind blend perfectly. It is a path that allows man to be brought back to his origins and made an integral part of Nature again. The documentary “Into the Lost Desert” bears witness to this epic undertaking.
