Hélène publishes romantic novels, and is convinced that imagination is always better than reality. Her friendship with her neighbor Scarlett Mills, an eccentric and colorful old lady from the United States, changes her life and provides professional inspiration for her and her colleagues. Ms. Mills becomes a celebrity, but nothing is as it seems: Mrs. Mills is a man, an art thief determined to take a precious fragment of a sculpture kept in Hélène's house. The truth will eventually come to the surface: can the alliance between Hélène and her new friend resist to the revelation?
