Mario Ceroli's work involves space, environment, architecture, theatre and design. The artist, who was born in Abruzzo but has always lived in Rome, began to take his first steps in the early sixties, during the Italian Pop Art period becoming for the originality of his proposal undisputed protagonist of a generation of artists who, in response to the American pop art, revolutionised the language of the contemporary art from the 1960s onwards.
