HIDDEN is a geopolitical detective series (4x50 min) that takes us to the shadowy and frightening world of hybrid warfare. Here, destructive cyber attacks, digital espionage and disinformation shape the battlefield. It’s being fought in a grey zone where the distinction between war and peace is often blurred. The Geneva Conventions do not apply and the opponent does not wear a uniform.
In this gripping series, we follow five main characters who are determined to make the unseen threats visible and tangible - each in their own way. Our daring protagonists try to defend themselves against digital attacks in the present, or want to uncover the truth about cyber attacks from the past. The outcome of their quest is still uncertain, but what’s at stake is crystal clear: the need to protect our democracies in modern times of war.
Our series combines suspense, storytelling and investigative journalism. We get drawn into a new reality where hackers and intelligence agents become modern soldiers and where the spread of false narratives is the weapon of choice.
